Thai Beef with Basil

Thai Beef with Basil
Spice up this dish as you see fit. Adjust the flavors to your palate and if you like it Thai hot, use crushed bird eye chilies!
Ingredients
Beef with seasoning
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 1/2 Tsp Pepper
- 1/4-1/2 Tsp Salt
- Pinch-1/4 Tsp Chili Flakes or Crushed Bird Eye Chilies
Sauce
- 1/4-1/2 Cup Water or Broth
- 2 Tsp Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tsp Fish Sauce
- 1 Lime, juiced
Vegetables
- 1/2 Cup Tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 Cup Carrots, julienned
- 1/4-1/2 Cup Basil, chopped
- 1/2 Onion, sliced thinly
- 1/8 Cup Cashews, Roasted and Crushed
Instructions

Heat pan and add coconut oil. Once hot, add ground beef and brown. While cooking, add salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

While beef is cooking, mix together sauce. Set aside until use.

Prep vegetables.

Add sauce to browned beef and stir. Cook down sauce if needed. Once the seasoned beef is ready, turn off the heat and add vegetables.

Mix everything together and serve! Top with roasted and crushed cashews.
