Sugar Free Gummies
These gummies are simple and delicious! You can make them with any juice or liquid, just add gelatin! For the recipe below, I used Ultima, a sugar free electrolyte beverage. I bought the variety pack for the rainbow of flavors and colors. For the gelatin, I used Vital Proteins Gelatin. I also mixed in CBD Oil from Jambo Superfoods. I added a dropper full to each batch and it didn’t affect the texture or flavor at all, just enhanced them with that zen feeling 🙂
Also, I used this super cute set from My Fruit Shack! I love that this set comes with individual trays and high quality droppers. The trays make fridge transfer so clean and easy… I wish every mold set came with them! They stack into one another for easy storage or you can overlap them in the fridge to set the gummies without taking up much room. And the droppers are great because they’re durable and I like that the tops can be removed for easy cleaning! I definitely recommend this set, they’re my favorite molds! A great size and it makes me the happiest that the gummies easily pop out!
Sugar Free Gummies
Use any liquid you'd like for this recipe! I've used a variety and most turn out, so feel free to experiment! And lemme know what you come up with! I love hearing from you 🙂
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1/2-1 Tsp Ultima
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Gelatin
Instructions
-
Off the heat, in a small saucepan, mix 1/2 cup water with 1/2 teaspoon Ultima. Taste. If you want more flavor, add more Ultima to your taste preference. OR use liquid of choice - tea, fruit or vegetable juice, smoothie blends - most will work... but some fruits affect the setting of the gelatin like pineapple, kiwi, mango, ginger root, papaya, figs and guava... so avoid those and your gummies will turn out great 🙂
-
Sprinkle 1.5 tablespoons of gelatin over liquid. Let sit and bloom for 1-2 minutes. It will absorb most of the moisture.
-
Place over low heat and stir until gelatin is dissolved, about 5-7 minutes. Don't let it come to a boil.
-
*Optional - Remove from heat and stir in CBD Oil.
-
Using dropper, fill molds. 1/2 cup liquid will fit into each mold.
-
Repeat the process with different flavors for variety!
-
Stack trays with molds and place in fridge until set, about thirty minutes to two hours. These gummies have a lot of gelatin in them and will set quickly.
-
Once set, remove from fridge and pop the gummies out of their molds.
-
Colorful, delicious, and healthy!
-
Store in the fridge in an airtight container for 4-5 days.
