Orange Smoothie
Remember orange creamsicle pops?! Well, this is kinda like that in smoothie form! This recipe is so easy, it’s become a staple in our home. I hope you guys love it too!
Orange Smoothie
This recipe can be adapted to your palate and dietary needs. Use you favorite milk and any fresh oranges will do. My favorite blend is with almond milk and Cara Cara oranges. And I never forget the vanilla bean powder! It add the perfect touch of flavor. Blend this smoothie in stages, adding more ice or milk as needed to reach your desired consistency. Add extra ice and eat it with a spoon or add more milk to thin it out. Also, this recipe makes a great base for protein drinks and is delicious blended with yogurt! Feel free to add your touch and make it your own!
Ingredients
- 2 Oranges
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla Powder
- 1 cup Milk of Choice
- 1-2 cups Ice
Instructions
-
Peel Oranges. I like to start by cutting off the top of the orange.
-
After you've cut the top, peel it back.
-
Using your hands, remove all skin and don't worry if there's extra white, inner rind (pith) left. It's good for you and will blend anyways.
-
Add all ingredients to blender.
-
Blend all ingredients on high until smooth. Depending on your preferred consistency, add more ice or milk. More ice for a thicker shake or more milk for a smooth drink. I like mine somewhere in the middle.
-
Enjoy!
